The Andøya Space Center is a spaceport made for launching rockets in northen Norway. It is a remarkable and historic place that you probably have not heard of. With a history of rocket launches dating back to 1962, it is one of the oldest active launch sites in the world. Its location in northern Norway at a latitude of 69° makes it also the northernmost launch site in the world.
